Bowling Can Be $$$!

Well so much for our Monday night plans. Apparently last week was the last week of the Dollar Bowling so last night it cost us over $50 for 2 hours. Can you believe that? I am not happy. And now I am broke. Woo Hoo! I still have 8 days till pay day too. Poopy. I do wonder what the hell we are going to find to do now. Honestly we have a really good time getting out of the house and throwing big balls down the lanes.

Last night was an interesting one, for everyone. Jenny and I wanted Samantha to come along and bring Bella and after a stressful afternoon she did end up making it, but with others in tow. Now I am not the type to hold a grudge. I pride myself on being better than that. I am an adult and I will not let pettiness get the better of me. Now I cannot claim the same for others, which is where the trouble begins. Hootie was fine, although he didn't come and say a word to any of us once Rob and Denise got back with their League Cards and when Samantha did come down to see us he was giving her dirty looks, but that's his choice not to like us. I still don't understand what I did but then I may never and am deciding that it really doesn't matter. I was most concerned with Dustin who for a while seemed a little less animated than usual and all the rest of us kind of picked up on it. Which made everyone else up in arms. We pulled off the evening without incident but the strain was there. I felt bad for Samantha because she was right smack dab in the middle of it and you could tell there was some friction. So that was bowling. I did do pretty good for a while, till my thumb and leg started to kill me.


Afterwards we went back over to Wind and Jenny's. We watched Project Runway and had a couple of drinks before heading home to bed. Well we actually ended up staying up to late, like always. We watched a movie called NIGHTWATCH which was actually really good. I don't know if it is a trilogy or what but it seemed like the 1st movie in a series. If it is I am interested in seeing them. Dustin made it almost all the way through the movie, up to the last 5 mins. Silly butt. One thing I realized last night is I am glad Rob and Denise got to see Dustin. I want them to see that he and I are happy and that whatever malicious wishes they had for us before did not work and that we are genuinely happy. He and I are solid in our relationship. And for all the things we may have working against us, including the debt they put him will not make us falter. If he lost them because they didn't like me then they lost because he has better friends and a better life without them. And yes I can say it did worry me, when all this crap started. Not that he would not want to be with me but just that he was losing friends because of me. I have never been the type of person to judge anyone's friends and just because I may not get along with them or in this case they don't get along with me doesn't mean I would restrict him from seeing his friends. Again I am not that petty or insecure. So despite the fact that I had nothing to do with him not hanging out with them, I still regret he lost his friends simply because they didn't like me for some reason. But they burned their own bridge when they decided to screw him over with the phone bill. That was all between him and them and they decided not to pay him so I can at least feel no guilt on that front because I had nothing to do or say about that.

Well so that's how last night went and what fun we all had. But that was that and today is a new day. It's time to go wake up my baby and I am ready for a nice big hug.

Summer Colds Suck My Ass

Okay so I might as well have a box of Kleenex super glued to the end of my nose because all I do is blow my nose all day. What the hell! I feel all yucky and all I want to do is sleep but I get restless and my house is a mess so all I do is clean the house. I wish it was 5pm already so I could go in and clean for a while and get that out of my system. Damn it all to hell. At least the medicine is helping to keep the sinus pain away. Mornings are the worst, since I can't keep taking medicine after I am asleep. Tomorrow is my day off and I am soo excited. I am so happy I don't have to get up early or deal with any angry people. YEAH!

So as for tonight, when in doubt - veg out. I think Dustin and I will go to the store and get some munchies and some movies and hang out at home. There are a lot of good movies that I missed so hopefully they will have some of the ones I want. Maybe even a couple Dustin wants too. He he.

One more hour to go. Well I am felling poopy and I think I will pick up the office so Stupid-O doesn't mess anything up.

Feeling Sickly

Okay so I know, when am I not sick. Apparently never. My body has been revolting against me all week and now I get a stuffy nose and a cough and a headache. Yep I am one sorry sickly chick!

However today is payday and I am going to medicate myself the best way I know how, shopping. Jenny, Alex and I are heading to Big Lots. Okay so not the most fabulous way to shop my cares away but whatever works and Hey, at least its not Walmart. However I would like to make a stop by Target.

So I heard some funny things today. Apparently Rob AND Denise are moving in with Hootie and Samantha. Now I have gotten to the point where I am no longer going to be bitchy or rude about everything that happened but as far as I am concerned that bridge has been burned. I am not the type of girl to pick or choose my mans friends so if Dustin so choose he could rebuild his friendship with them but I will not be involved. I will be polite and friendly but not guniuenly. Sorry it's just not in me. No concern was given to Dustin as he had to come up with over a thousand dollars to cover the phone bills so no concern from me as to whether they have changed or simple found a new way to mooch is needed. I wish neither the worst or the best for them, just simply that they get what they deserve.

And to Samantha, lots of luck and patience. I hope her and Bella are okay and that she is able to keep her cool.

Work is almost over, thank god. I am going to take a shower and then get ready to shop. I need a pick me up.

Fantasy Football

Miss Kitty's Killers

Yep, that's my team name. Last night we drafted our players and I got completely confused and ended up screwing up already. :) That's right, I rock. I had this post all planned out, I would post my players and everything but I missed a RB, and I picked up too many WR's, and I have no idea who my backup defense is. ACK! I have no hope of winning this thing. I am shit out of luck. You know you go into these things with hope and wishful thinking and when it's all said and done you are cursing and spitting. So that's where I am right now and our stuff hasn't even been posted yet.

So it must be obvious to everyone now that I am soo disenchanted with the whole Fantasy Football thing. I know there are people who play it religiously and maybe in the course of the season my mind will be swayed, but as it stands all I have gotten out of this is a headache. And I have plenty of things that do that already.

Bah!

Ali and Bella !!!

Last night the babies finally got to meet each other. Bella and Ali had a good time and enjoyed influencing each other through out the night. All in all there was some sleepy faces, some burps, spit-ups, dirty diapers, laughs, tears, and lots and lots of feeding. It was a lot of fun and the kids are too cute for words.

Jenny and Wind grilled out for us and we ate, laughed, complained, giggled, ohhed and awed, and soothed throughout the night. It was great to see everyone all together and to see these two cuties hanging out. There is nothing like a baby to bring people closer together. All the parents were looking happy and proud and with good reason. These babies have to be two of the cutest babies I have ever seen. They will be heartbreakers for sure.
