This weekend was Alex's Birthday weekend, with his birthday on the 25th, it fell on a Tuesday which is pretty much the middle of the week, so he took the weekend off and planned a wonderful weekend of celebration. Friday was dinner at El Maguey or something like that and Ameristar Casino. With yummy fried ice cream. Yum! Alex ended up winning $75! Which is good cause the rest of us left broke. Then there was the
museum on Saturday, which I unfortunately did not get to go to, damn work. But we are planning on going this Friday since Dustin and I are both off together again. Next was dinner at 54th Street followed by Weatherbee's for a few hours. Then on Sunday we went to the new water park up by the airport. It was lots of fun although Jenny didn't come because she was worried about bringing the baby. We got lots of great pictures and had tons of fun in the sun. It was my first trip to the pool this year which is sad because its the end of July. But hopefully we will be making many more trips to the pool
before summer ends. I was to lazy to get up early and upload all the pictures from the pool so around noon or so I will upload them and set up a slideshow or something of all the pictures. However they will not be edited so they all may not look quite as good as they will later. I am awake this morning but barely. I am still coughing up all kinds of crap and there is no signs of it stopping anytime soon.
Joe actually made it out to see me for about 20 minutes Friday when we were at Ameristar. He was headed up to pick up Jason at the airport and needed to kill some time. I swear that is the only time I ever see him is when he is picking up or dropping off Jason. Which only happens ever couple of months. So needless to say I hardly ever see him. I talk to him fairly often but that is about it. Which brings me to the next person, Samantha. I have tried emailing her several times and gotten no response so that must mean she is over at Hooties fairly often. I tried calling her mom's last week and kept getting a busy signal which is odd because she has call waiting but oh well. I wanted to see how her and Bella are doing. I bet she is getting so big! I have all these pictures of Ali but none of Bella. I hate to call Hootie to get a hold of her since Dustin said he didn't seem to want to talk to him much. I don't want to get stuck in the middle of something if I don't know what's going on. I just miss her and want to see how things are going. I am going to try and email her again today and see if I can find her old email address and send one there too, but she may be to busy with Bella to get online. And then that would explain why she hasn't responded. Ugh. I feel crappy. I think it's time for some more medicine. I will post later once I get the pictures online!

A New Look
Payday came and went and I am ready for the next one.
I splurged. I got Dustin his Nintendo DS Lite and the accessory kit and some games for our anniversary and I got my hair cut. I had it chopped off. I got ready Friday to go get his gift and to cash my check and left the house. After sweating my butt off in my non-A/C car I looked like poop. So on the way home I cut across 2 lanes of traffic because I saw the 72nd St. Salon and I decided I wanted to get it chopped off. I love it. Not just love it but Love, Love it! Dustin loves it too. Funny thing is Margie had called while I was getting cut because she wanted me to go with her to get hers cut. Now we both look cute. She got hers colored as well, and it looks beautiful. It's strawberry blond with blond highlights. Cost her a pretty penny but it was worth it cause she looks soo cute. We ended up going to Side Pockets and playing Golden Tee till midnight. All in all it was a good day. Really hot thought.
Saturday we went over to Jenny and Wind's. I took a few million more pictures of the baby.
Ali is soo gorgeous. She is going to be a knock out. We played Trivial Persuit and fawned all over Ali. I had started to itch. It felt like I had bug bites on my sides so I thought nothing of it. Then when we finally made it home at after midnight when I was changing my clothes, I noticed it was more like a rash and it was in several different spots. I just figured it would go away but at 3am I woke up scratching the hell out of myself and got up to look in the mirror and it was spreading. All over my body. I was going crazy and I call my mom and she said to take some benedryl and go to the hospital. I didn't have any so I woke Dustin up and he took me to the hospital. What sucked the most was I had to pay $75 for some benedryl. We stopped by the store on the way home and got some claritin and some benedryl so that I could keep taking it and not get sleepy and have something to take at night to help me sleep. The horrible part is I am not supposed to wear any of my clothes or use the same soaps I have been using since we don't know what it was that I am allergic to. So I have to rewash all my clothes. So needless to say I don't have much to wear. Here it is Monday and I still itch occasionally. My skin is still irritated, and all I want to do is sleep.

Tuesday Night!
Work sucked. But then it always does. It was what happened after work that kicked ass!
Last night Dustin and I went to see Mindless Self Indulgence and Kill Hannah. It was an awesome show. We took pictures, most of which did not turn out so well, but we got video as well.
Kill Hannah rocked my socks! They are freaking amazing and I am so glad I got to see them live. Boys and Girls, From Now On, I Want To Be A Kennedy and a bunch more and they killed it. But the thing that I loved the most was the cover of Billy Idols Rebel Yell. It was great. Kudos! Now when it came time for MSI I was excited and tired because all the 12 - 16 year olds were making me feel old. But I have to say, like always MSI brought my energy back up. Clarissa, Shut me Up, Straight to Video, and al lthe others kicked ass! He is electric. His energy is always on full blast and he lights up the crowd! Now last time Dustin and I went and saw them he walked off stage and through the crowd and then up the stairs to sing next to me. Which was really cool. He intimidates the hell outta me but it was really cool.
This time I really wasn't expecting anything, I mean it seemed pretty damn random for him to just walk up next to me and he does run all over, but after last night, I think maybe he likes me. I am sooo not the type to be all conceited or anything like that but after the show was over and every one else walked off stage he held up a sign for a few mins that said KISSES 1 $. Yes just like that. Idiot. LOL
After he went back and got a drink he came back out to the crowd and starting taking money and giving kisses. You had money, he kissed you. Race, size, sex, didn't matter. Now how he chose who he frenched, I am not sure. Cause all the ones I though he would, he didn't so figure that out. So then the music came back on (the establishments music) and Debbie Gibson's "Shake Your Love" was on. I started laughing because he heard it at the same moment I did and he started singing and dancing while kissing the entire crowd. So he's making out with people left and right and I am ready to get out of the heat so I ask Dustin if he is ready to go, he says sure and he starts getting his shit together. So I am sitting their watching this self established man-whore make out with men and woman alike and he looks up and starts singing to me and saying come down here, come on you know you want to and singing and dancing to me. I am laughing like crazy thinking "is he talking to me?" when I know that he is because there is no one else around me. So it occurs to me that once again he has seen me. And whether it was my sweaty runny makeup, or my frizzy hair, he keeps seeing me in the crowd. And I was not doing anything special or looking especially nice. Just sweaty and hot. So Dustin and I have decided he must just like me. Because I am an utterly forgettable person and yet still he seems to find me. GO ME!
LOL
I am working on a slide show of the pictures and hopefully will have it posted tomorrow. Maybe the videos as well?!?!?
Have a Happy Hump Day!

July
Well we had our 4th of July BBQ last Sunday and it was a lot of fun. I ended up buying a pool but it was freezing cold water so we hardly spent any time in it. But it will get good use since I decided to let Wind and Jenny use it. They can keep it at their house where we can all get some good use out of it. The 4th of July was a good day as well. We ended up going over to Margie's to eat and shoot off fireworks. Aside from some minor injuries everything was good. I got some great pictures and a good time was had by all.
Tonight we are supposed to go to Worlds of Fun but Dustin will more than likely spend the evening with his family and never make it out to the park. I am going to go over to my mom's and hang out there for a while and then maybe Margie and I will end up going to Worlds of Fun and if Dustin ever decides to come he can meet up with us. I love Dustin and his family. They are very warm and sweet people but I don't get why he has to when he goes over there to see them play 4 hours worth of games and sit around watching TV. I get bored. I go over and see my mom and spend maybe an hour. He goes over to his moms and will do nothing except fall asleep and I am sitting there ready to beat my head against the wall. Especially when there is other stuff that I have planned. But alas, we hardly ever see my mom and spend hours with his family despite the fact they live further away. *sigh*
I am ready to get out of here. I am sitting here at work doing absolutely nothing. I have had 2 calls and that is it. I am bored and mildly tired. I want to get outside and enjoy the mild weather. For once it's not swelteringly hot outside and I am stuck indoors. *yawn* Well I guess I will try and find my book and go and check the mail or something.
*waves*
Ciao!
